The Phase 1 course forms the second part of training to become a certified Colourstrings Music Kindergarten Teacher.

It is suitable for people who have already attended the 5-day Introduction to Colourstrings Music Kindergarten Course.

Course content will include:

• A detailed look at the Singing Rascals repertoire
• Discussion on Child Psychology and Child Development
• Lesson planning and delivery
• Teaching for different stages of development
• Repertoire for babies and young children
• Dalcroze principles, dance and movement workshops
• Introducing notation
• Links to instrumental teaching
• Musicianship training and assessment
